This website has been established to provide information and techniques to clients which will enable them to make effective decisions about sheep health. We expect this to result in a high standard of animal care and welfare for their livestock with the majority of disease problems prevented or eliminated.

The site is managed by experienced veterinarians who are regularly examining and treating individual sheep and flocks.

If you are a sheep farmer (herder, rancher, producer or shepherd- depending where you are in the world) visiting this site, you are welcome to use the resources. We would also be delighted to hear from you with a question or suggestion about the website. This will also enable you to receive our occasional email newsletter.

For substantial professional advice including on diagnosis and treatment, we recommend you consult with a veterinarian.

Is disease or lack of productivity an issue in your flock? Is your management or control of sheep health problems EFFECTIVE?

Our staff can provide expert veterinary professional advice: via e-mail, fax, telephone or letter- on a fee-for-service basis. Please be aware that we are only able to prescribe or supply restricted medicines for animals in accordance with Australian or local laws- which may require us to work in conjunction with your local veterinarian(s).

For new clients, we offer an initial free consultation. We believe this will assist you to plan how to best utilise our services, and also enables us to determine how we might be able to serve you as a client.

You might also like to check out our library of resources for information on a range of sheep health issues and techniques.

Veterinarians: We are compiling a REGISTER of sheep veterinarians which enables us to refer enquiries to a local practice or reliable source of information.

If you are a veterinarian involved in treating sheep or attending mixed sheep/cattle/goat enterprises PLEASE CONTACT US and register your details. The information will be used only to assist with promoting high standard health care and to enable referrals.

If you are a veterinarian who does not regularly treat sheep, we would appreciate your support in suggesting to clients that they access this site for reliable sheep health information. Alternatively, PLEASE CONTACT US for advice which may help a client with a sheep problem.

Website managers: We would appreciate links to this site, and will include reciprocal links to relevant sites (subject to our review and discretion).

Please let us know of websites providing information on sheep health or production you would like to share.
